Al-Win offers full domain name services.
Domain names refer to registered internet addresses such as company.com or
company.co.za.
A domain can be registered on your behalf so that a person in XYZ company
called Tom, for example, can have an e-mail address tom@xyz.co.za.
The Web site address of the same company will be www.xyz.co.za.
Having your own Domain Name means the outside world will not be able to see
which provider you are using, or if you are permanently connected to the
internet or just use the services of 3rd parties.
It is the professional way of presenting a company on the Internet.
The only restriction is that the domain that you want to apply for isn't
already taken. We will gladly check for you which names are still available and
suggest alternatives.
It is recommended that you register a local .co.za domain if you are not part
of an
international company. If you do have branches outside South Africa then you
should rather opt for the more expensive international .com domain.
Charges
Al-Win Internet Services charges a once-off registration fee of R500.00 for any
co.za
domain or R800.00 for an international domain.
Furthermore, an annual renewal and maintenance fee of R100 for .co.za domains
and R500.00 for .com domains is charged. Other charges are calculated depending
on the additional
services required.
The domain name registration fee includes the handling of all correspondence
with the registrar, the completion of the registration form and implementation
of name services as well as payment to all the necessary authorities.
The annual domain name maintenance fee includes any domain name server entries
and running of the domain.
